The laundry service was efficient and reasonably priced, and the in-room dining had a varied, tasty selection. I also liked having a mini-bar and coffee-making facilities. The room had modern amenities, including a spacious bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a clean, well-stocked bathroom. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, keeping things comfortable and hygienic throughout my stay. These conveniences made for a relaxing, enjoyable visit at Hanoi Daewoo Hotel. I'd recommend it to travelers looking for comfort and convenience in the heart of Ha Noi.

The rooms are roomy and clean, and the hotel is close to Lotte Center. I loved the classic feel and the beautiful pool. Definitely recommend it!

This was a disappointing New Year’s Eve stay. The room TV showed Netflix, YouTube, and a “connect” option, but none worked. I have Pro accounts for both Netflix and YouTube, yet the screen went black when I tried to use them. Staff said the TVs were old and couldn’t connect. There was no HDMI cable or usable casting option, and the “FastCast” feature was unfamiliar to the staff too. I was surprised there seemed to be no IT support available on a major holiday, especially at a hotel of this size and price. I also asked where to see the fireworks and was told to go to West Lake. Soon after, I could see fireworks directly outside my lake-facing window. I can’t say whether those were the official displays, but it seemed odd that a lakeside hotel didn’t mention they might be visible from the property. The staff appeared not to know. Before going out for the fireworks, I asked for nearby food recommendations. They mainly pointed me toward the hotel restaurant. When I brought up a pizza place about eight minutes away that looked open online, staff said it wasn’t taking guests and didn’t help further. I went there myself and found it open with tables available. It seemed they had relied on a quick web check instead of calling to confirm. On New Year’s Eve, guests might reasonably expect to unwind with something personal to watch. Being stuck with standard satellite channels felt outdated, and advertising smart TV features that don’t work was very disappointing. For a well-known, expensive hotel, the broken in-room technology, lack of IT help, and limited local knowledge all felt like a serious professionalism gap.

We had a great rate compared with other five-star hotels in Hanoi, and the service was good. The pool was nice too. Our room on the 10th floor had a view I loved. I’ll definitely come back!

The room was fairly big and clean, and the bed linen was soft and comfortable. Some of the furniture is a little old, but overall it was still good.
