Royal Palms Hotel

Avoid this place. The rooms are damp and smelly, and the receptionist tries to put you in a worse room than the one you booked.

The location is handy, easy to find, and right in a busy residential area with plenty of food and entertainment nearby. The sea is close enough to walk to, and the room, though small, had all the basics, a big TV and bathroom. There’s an elevator, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. For the price, the quality was about right. Booking through Agoda or Booking may get you the best rate. There’s no car park, so cars have to stay on the street, though a guard is on duty and it felt safe. The room wasn’t very clean when I arrived, with dust and old cotton swabs still on the floor. Only the front rooms have windows, while the inner rooms don’t, which makes them feel a bit mysterious.

We had a short overnight stop at this newly opened hotel in Tuy Hoa. The front room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four, and everything was in working order. We’d stay again when passing through.

A great little hotel, and Nuyet at reception was especially helpful and friendly.
