My Hoa Oceanfront Home

Our son had to go to the hospital, so we couldn't stay after all. The host refunded everything, even though we were only supposed to get half back. Thanks so much. I hope we get another chance to visit.

The place is really cool, and everything else was great. The sea looks gorgeous, and with the light just right, the photos come out beautifully. Kitesurfing looks so relaxing too. The juice could use work, though: my friend said it smelled lovely but tasted like plain water, lol.

The best time to come is early morning, when the tide pulls back and leaves a smooth strip of sand that reflects the sky. It's peaceful then, and the long stretch of clear water and cool breeze make My Hoa Beach – Phan Rang feel almost otherworldly. Not many people seem to know about this beautiful, unspoiled spot yet, so going early also gives you a quieter moment with nature and great photo light. When the north winds arrive, from late in the year through around March, the beach becomes a kite surfing destination. Lots of Westerners set up tents and boards, and watching them catch the wind is a real sight. If you like extreme sports, it's worth waiting for a windy day to try it.

I came in summer, when the water was shallow, so I missed the best season for waves and kitesurfing, which is during the winter months. Even so, it was worth experiencing the sea here: the gentle shallow area runs almost 1km from shore toward deeper water, making this one of Vietnam's most distinctive beaches. The house is the most stylish and beautiful in My Hoa, with new rooms, and the host was very enthusiastic about helping with check-in.
