The ground-floor room was probably just bad luck, but I could hear everything happening around reception, which got annoying. There was also some mold on the bathroom ceiling. Otherwise, the room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were really friendly and spoke English. Estelle Apartments is near a park in a very quiet area compared with the rest of busy Saigon. A good option for a Saigon trip, but I’d ask for a room on a higher floor.

The staff were young, energetic, and helpful during my pleasant two-day business trip. They seemed a little confused about some procedures at times, but put a lot of effort into handling my requests, from booking taxis and suggesting restaurants to picking up food orders at reception. It’s only about five minutes from the CBD and office hubs, in a quiet, secure neighborhood with plenty of local food stalls within walking distance. I’ll definitely stay at Estelle Boutique Apartment again on my next business trip to HCM city.

We booked a room with a terrace, but on arrival were told it wasn’t available and we’d have to take one without it. At first they wouldn’t offer a discount, saying the replacement had a great city view. What we actually saw was a couple of AC units. The rooms weren’t cleaned daily, and on the day they were cleaned, the staff left dirty coffee cups behind. We asked for three days in a row to get the TV fixed and were told each day it would be done, but nothing happened. When we asked to speak to the manager, the receptionist said she didn’t know when the manager worked. The staff seemed completely unprofessional, as if the place were run by students who had no clue. Very poor performance overall. Stay somewhere more professional in Saigon.

I spent 20 nights at Estelle Boutique Apartment and really liked it. The bed was comfortable, the room was new, and it had a big window, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with shampoo and body wash. The kitchen was nicely equipped with all the tools I needed, plus a fridge/freezer. The young staff were friendly, energetic, and ready to help with anything. They also offer laundry and airport pickup services. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Thanks a lot, recommended!
