Cinnamon Hotel Saigon

The breakfast was a delicious, custom-made four-course meal. On New Year's Eve, the staff even brought each guest a handmade Happy New Year card the next morning, which was thoughtful. They were consistently friendly and approachable. My room stayed remarkably quiet despite the hotel's central location, and it was cozy with decent space, a good-sized bathroom, and strong A/C. The Wi-Fi was spotty in the room but worked fine in the lobby. The lounge has a traditional look and overlooks the busy street. This charming boutique hotel was a lovely choice for my last night in Vietnam, and I'd stay here or at one of their other properties again.

The staff were excellent, and the coffee was tasty. Breakfast was filling and pretty good, though the kitchen staff could pay closer attention because my soup had things in it that shouldn't have been there. It's a cozy boutique hotel in a great location, but feels a bit dated. Also, it's a four-floor walk-up with no lift.

The staff were the real highlight: they were so welcoming and the friendliest we met during our 17 days in Vietnam. In also shared your birthday with us, thank you, and I hope the year brings you great luck. They carried all our bags upstairs, and at check-in we got a map of popular sights and restaurant suggestions, plus some useful Vietnamese phrases. I was unsure about all those stairs with my wife and two daughters, since the five-floor hotel has no elevator. But the staircase is beautiful, and I guessed the wood might be mahogany. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice. The place is a cozy little find in a quiet part of district 1. I'm very glad we stayed at Cinnamon Hotel and would come back next time I'm in Saigon. I miss you already!

There isn't an elevator, so this place won't suit anyone who can't manage stairs. The street can be a bit noisy at night, though it wasn't too bad. The staff were warm and gave excellent, personal service. Thanks especially to Yin for helping with my locked luggage. Their restaurant suggestions were helpful too.
