The atmosphere is honest and relaxing, and the staff are so friendly. I put a 10m kite into the reef without insurance, and they charged only 50 dollars to repair the bladder and leading edge. Such a great spot. Highly recommend Son and his team! Tom and marky, aka amba and anvil.

The food and accommodation are basic and cheap, while the staff and owner are nice and friendly. It's windy every day, but strong winds get really gusty. Check the tide forecast before booking, since the lagoon empties at low tide and is only about knee deep when the tide is 1.2m. There's no entertainment around.

Tu taught a great lesson, and I was up on the board in no time. He speaks English and made it a lot of fun. I'm going back tomorrow. Update: after six hours of lessons, I'm kiting upwind and just finished an hour on my own.

The owner greeted us when we arrived, and we really enjoyed the chalet with its outdoor shower. The setup was easy and flexible, with the launch spot only 50 meters from the accommodation. We took two beginner lessons focused on water starts and made real progress. Huong explained things clearly, which helped a lot. We had two good days of side-onshore wind and favorable lagoon tides, and it was fun watching local riders do tricks right by the beach.
