The housekeeping staff were charming and friendly, and did a wonderful job. My room was fresh, clean, and neat, with a very comfortable bed and good linens and pillows. The bathroom was a good size and had a rainfall shower. I arrived a little early, and the woman at the front desk kindly let me check in. 10/10.

My room was clean, and the hotel felt fairly new and modern. The double bed was probably the most comfortable one I’ve had in a hotel in Vietnam, and there was a safe for valuables. Back Beach is just five minutes away, with lots of restaurants and coffee bars a couple of minutes’ walk away. The receptionist was very helpful with my questions and arranged a luxury bus straight from the hotel to Ho Chi Minh airport. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Vung Tau.

It’s quiet here, and only five minutes from the beach. The rooms have no outside windows, though. At 500,000 for one night, it’s very expensive, and there’s no tea or coffee in the room.

I’m surprised they charge over 500k VND a night for facilities that don’t seem worth it. The room was very small, the bed wasn’t soft enough, and there wasn’t even a chair or table on the balcony. No coffee, cup noodles, electric kettle, or hair dryer either. WiFi didn’t work on the 4th floor. When I asked, the rude male receptionist told me to use the 5th floor WiFi, but the signal was too weak and kept disconnecting. The air conditioner didn’t work properly, so it was hot like hell. A waste of money. I don’t recommend this place and will never come back!

The surroundings are quiet, the room and bathroom were clean, and the beach is within walking distance. There are stores and coffee shops nearby. Staff can rent you a bike or book bus tickets, and there’s free WiFi. No prepayment was needed, and free cancellation was available within a reasonable amount of time.
