Hung Binh Hotel

I paid extra for a 25 sqm Deluxe Quadruple Room with Bathtub, but the room I got was about 12 sqm and had no bathtub. It was completely different from the listing, and I took photos during my stay. They clearly show a room under 25 square meters, no bathtub, and an elevator that wasn't working. The location on Agoda was shown as beachfront, but the hotel was far from the beach. The beach itself wasn't my main concern, but my event was held there, so the distance caused a lot of inconvenience and wasted time. I also had to carry my 20 kg suitcase upstairs because the elevator wasn't working, or may have been switched off to save electricity. Hot water took ages to come through and was barely usable, even with the tap fully on. On the first night, the owner tried to make me leave, apparently forgetting I had booked two nights, and only stopped after checking the reservation. There were ants in the room, and the room was never properly clean. The cleaning staff were polite, which was the only positive part of the stay. I don't recommend this hotel, and this experience has made me unsure whether Agoda can be trusted. I've been a VIP member for quite a long time, but I think Agoda should at least be sued over fake advertising. This was one of my worst hotel experiences with Agoda, and it has seriously made me question the service. I've written plenty of hotel reviews before, but this one was exceptionally bad. I'm also unsure whether I can take legal action against Agoda for its recent behavior, which has caused users bad experiences and actual harm, possibly even intentionally. At the very least, I'll report this case to the Consumer Affairs Center in Japan. It may not lead to a successful outcome, but I hope it helps expose the serious harm Agoda has caused, including lost time and money and important moments in people's plans. Frankly, Agoda seems to have become too arrogant, and without proper oversight, I expect things will keep getting worse.
