I had a confirmed booking through booking.com, with an email to prove it, but when I arrived around 11:30 am, the owner told me the hotel was full. They wouldn't listen when I explained what had happened and said I should have called them. The app hadn't asked me to call or pay a deposit, so I refused their suggestion to stay at the hotel next door for 700k, when my booked room was over 500k. The owner got angry, said I should accept the situation since I hadn't called, then went inside. It was a really irresponsible and uncooperative way to treat a guest. If you're going to VT, avoid this place or it could ruin your trip.

When I arrived, they said my room was already booked and wouldn't let me check in. The price I'd paid on Booking.com was much higher than the listed price, and they claimed I'd needed to call the hotel after booking or pay a deposit for them to hold the room. I couldn't find any basis for that excuse, and when I asked why it wasn't mentioned on Booking.com, the owner didn't answer. Instead, they showed me another room that was clearly more expensive. Canceling brought another problem: they demanded 50% of the room price, which contradicted what the owner had told me. I had to argue before they canceled it for free. Sharing this so others can think carefully and avoid months of trip planning ending in frustration.
