Nice apartments, and the price is really good.

The lifts in the building were appalling, with huge queues at most times of day. That was one more frustration during a 10-night stay in a filthy, mouldy apartment. Soap scum covered the bathroom, taps, towel rails, and shower heads. The shower itself was very good, which earns the one star. There was a lingering unpleasant smell even with the balcony door regularly open. We found no cleaning supplies except about an inch of dishwashing liquid, and no cloth or brush. The half-used toilet roll was mildewy, and there was no soap or shampoo. A seal under the bathroom sink was broken, so water ran from the trap onto the floor. We reported it on day two, but it was never repaired. The room wasn’t serviced during our stay, so we washed the towels and bedding ourselves with detergent we’d brought. Before arrival, I contacted the apartment twice and got no reply or check-in instructions. They charged my credit card immediately for all ten nights, although VRBO said we wouldn’t be charged until two weeks before the booking. Less than an hour after booking, they also wanted a 90% cancellation fee. One star because I can’t give none. Don.

It’s affordable, but the quality is excellent. Service felt like a 5-star hotel, so I’d recommend the place.

The price for the service was reasonable. Our room was clean and well equipped, with a lovely city view that was great for watching the sunset.
