You can walk to Coop Mart, where there’s a grocery store along with KFC and Lotteria. For lunch, you can eat at Coopmart or at either fast-food place. Across the street is a yellow and red restaurant that opens for breakfast and dinner. They only have Pho at breakfast, but at dinner they serve seafood fried rice, the best I’ve had in Vung Tau. The hotel is in a great spot, 2.1 km from the backend of the back beach, and the room, service, and price were great too.

The booking experience was awful. The night before we planned to leave, I called to reserve a room and was quoted a price, which they confirmed because it was a good Tet deal. When I later asked for the QR code to pay the deposit, they said they were busy and would send it later. I have the messages and audio from that exchange. I told my family to pack and get ready to go, then checked with the hotel again before leaving. They told me someone else had taken the room at a higher rate, so it was no longer available. The way they spoke to me was rude and uneducated, including saying, “Whoever booked at a higher price gets the room.” That staff member's conduct reflects badly on the whole hotel. My advice if you're going to Vung Tau is not to book ahead, or at least don't hurry to pay a deposit. They could keep it, and you'd have no choice but to accept that.
