We spent two days at Phoenix Hotel and enjoyed it. The city, the beach, and Lotte Mart are all close by. Every staff member we dealt with was attentive and professional.

When I arrived to check in today after booking through Expedia, staff first said they couldn't find the reservation, then claimed I hadn't paid enough through Expedia. I left without checking in because the whole thing felt like a scam. I wouldn't recommend the hotel. They had an arrangement with Expedia to handle bookings on their behalf, yet still wanted more money on arrival.

We found it easy to walk to the beach, and Lotte market is almost next door. Even on the main road, it was very quiet. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with very comfortable beds and pillows I loved. The decor is tasteful, the design has a boutique hotel feel, and breakfast has plenty of good options. There's an elevator and a small place to park motorbikes.

The café was spotless throughout, including the men's toilet, which was sparkling clean and tidy. The staff were right on the ball, too. Great coffee and a wonderful view. I'll be back.

A nice three-star hotel with clean, pleasant rooms and good service. Breakfast is a good buffet, and there are meeting and conference rooms, so it works for combining a meeting with some relaxation. There's no swimming pool, but it does have three very nice jacuzzi tubs. The price is reasonable.
