We booked on Agoda, but the room photos were fake and they wanted more money. They blamed Agoda and us, then pressured us to take a different room where even the AC didn’t work. I’d tell people to look elsewhere. They’re scammers, and I wouldn’t recommend this place even to homeless people. To correct the reply: Agoda didn’t scam us, the hotel owner did. She said she didn’t have that room, but after we booked, we saw her put other tourists in it. Is Agoda scamming people all over the world and this hotel the only exception? No. Don’t trust this hotel. If you book a room, check it before you pay.

It’s in a market district, so you can head out for street food at night, and the beach is only one or two kilometers away. The price is okay. The rooms aren’t great, though: the air feels very moist and there’s an uneasy smell. If you’ll be out traveling most of the time and just need somewhere to sleep, it works. Otherwise, there are lots of other hotels nearby.

There’s a big gap above the door, so outside noise comes into the room. They list a washing machine, but wouldn’t let me use it, and there was no bath soap.

There was no electricity when I checked in, but the staff wanted me to take a room without windows. They said the power would be back in an hour, but it never came back.

It looks lovely from outside, but inside it’s badly run down. The location is very good, though the price is too high.
