The breakfast was fabulous, and all the staff were really friendly and nice. Our room was clean and safe, with a lovely view and a balcony. The swimming pool is across the road, and the kids’ pool was a big plus. My child loved it. I’d absolutely stay here again when I visit VUNG TAU.

Rooms were okay, but the stay was disappointing. Valley mountain hotel is an abandoned building, and guests are sent to nearby Doan 28 hotel by the beach. There’s no garden or garden-view room, just sea views or noisy views of the traffic street. Motorbikes get locked up after 10pm, so you can’t go out at night if you want to. Management also does karaoke weddings at the pool. There wasn’t any breakfast, even during peak vacation days.

Valley Mountain has two areas. I’m reviewing the standard one, where rooms cost 800k VND a night, which really didn’t seem worth it. For only 90k VND more, you could stay at Mermaid Seaside, which is much higher quality. The other area is across the road and has a pool and food court. I can’t speak to the rooms there yet, but the pool is quite nice. Food was okay; the drinks were terrible.
