The buffet has plenty to choose from, and there’s a large supermarket nearby. I came to Hung Yen for work and felt at ease here. The staff are still new and not very professional, but they’re keen and enthusiastic. The spa feels really luxurious, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. I stayed two nights in this lovely five-star hotel, about a 30-minute drive from Hanoi. The rooms are roomy, with quality fabrics and premium amenities, and I was very impressed with the facilities. A five-star room here costs less than half what you’d pay in central Hanoi. Business travelers should give it a try.

The breakfast was the same both mornings, and they served customers a rotten cake. What a disgrace. If they’re serving food from the day before, they should at least try it themselves first. We had a bad stay. The staff couldn’t speak English, and they gave us room 13 even though the hotel wasn’t busy and we could see lots of empty rooms. They don’t deserve to call this a five-star hotel. If Google let me give zero stars, I would. They should downgrade it to one star.
