We had a lovely host who was helpful with everything, and the place was good value. Getting around is easiest with a rental car, though she can arrange tours and you can also catch a taxi or a “bus” from the road. Taxis to town were 300 vatu each way. There were soft corals a few metres out from the “beach,” and despite no AC, it didn't get too hot. Thanks for having us!

The room was clean, well looked after, and just what we needed, with a view of the water and shipwreck. We were in a bind after our flight was delayed, and Esline went out of her way to help us find somewhere to stay. She welcomed us with a big smile, suggested a local dinner spot, and even drove us there and collected us afterward. Esline, thank you for all your help. We won't forget it.

We could sit for a meal right by the sea, on our own patio, or inside, and the room had a kitchen with everything we needed to cook. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of places to charge devices, and the bathroom had a hot shower. Everything was clean and well kept, and the WiFi worked great. The house is right on the water, with steps or a beach depending on the tide, and there's an interesting shipwreck just 10m from the garden. Esline and John were such friendly, helpful hosts. They could sort out tours, contacts, food shopping, or onward transport, and even invited us for dinner and drinks. Really nice couple, I totally recommend staying here.
