We stayed a little beyond the main part of town, which made the rooms quiet, but everything was still a short walk or taxi ride away. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helped arrange activities, food and anything else we needed. When we got back later than usual from a trip, they even called to check that we'd made it home okay. I had a great time on Santo at the Village de Santo and will definitely return on future visits. Set aside a whole day for the Millennium Cave tour. Thank you!

We found this place after our flight was cancelled, and the owner was incredibly helpful. They even got up at 3.30 am to make sure our taxi came. The room was clean and comfortable, and the steaks were the best we had during our 12 nights in Vanuatu. I'd highly recommend it as a base for exploring the island.

We spent four nights here while in Santo and really enjoyed it. Village De Santo made a great base for all the exploring we did, and was a nice place to return to for dinner and a cheeky cocktail before bed. The packed lunch they organised for our Millennium Cave Tour was delicious, and we appreciated all the help from the friendly, accommodating staff. It's far enough from town to be quiet, but close enough that we could walk if we wanted. The facilities were great. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so good!

The mezzanine setup was great, and the room itself was good. The shower was decent compared with other places we stayed on the island. Food felt a bit pricey for what we got. It's a basic place with friendly staff and works well as a base for exploring.

You're up more than 13 steps to get to the bedroom, then back down to use the toilet, which was especially annoying at night. The adjoining property to Village de Santo can also make sleep difficult, with loud karaoke, music, psychobabble and kids playing late at night or early in the morning, depending on the neighbours' mood and whether they're around to disturb you. Bring insect repellent. The rooms are more like spacious, self-contained lofts. They have ceiling fans, which help make up for the lack of air-conditioning, but there's no TV, safe box or reliable hot water. Wi-Fi is fast, though you can only use it at the outside bar, where there are insects, or in the restaurant. Breakfast was free but underwhelming. The resort's menu food tastes great, but costs extra. It's within walking distance of Santo's downtown, where you can expect limited food choices on a small, remote island.
