Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments

The water is right outside, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We were eight women visiting to play golf and have fun. The staff are friendly, and we like that it's not a swanky resort. It's comfortable, convenient and welcoming. We love it.

We loved the quiet beach, which was lovely for swimming. The jetty is only a couple of minutes away on foot, with the ferry to Hideaway Island or buses into Port Vila. This is a fabulous little self-contained apartment complex on Mele Bay. Everything is kept beautifully clean, the beds are comfortable, and the small kitchen turns out great food, especially the home-baked bread. The staff are wonderful, treat you like family, and are happy to have a chat if you're up for one. Highly recommended for an easy, relaxing beach stay with the comforts of home.

We had a nice breakfast. You can eat at their restaurant or walk a minute to the beach bar. Hideaway Island is also close, either a walk along the beach or a one-minute boat ride away, though snorkelling there is expensive. It's a lovely Airbnb right on the beach, easy to stroll along the shore and go for a swim.

The balcony apartment had a lovely sea view and everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer. The main bedroom had air conditioning, with fans in the other rooms, plus a fully equipped kitchen and a barbecue. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Thanks to Juliet and all the staff for such a great stay. We were nine people there in June 2023 and loved the spot on Mele beach. It's one of the best beaches I've swum at, and we spent most mornings in the water. Hideaway Island is a quick five-minute ferry ride away, Beach Bar with its amazing fire show is a minute's walk, and Mele cascades is about a ten-minute drive. The staff were the best, making delicious cocktails and food. A free continental breakfast was included too.
