The staff were friendly, and being near the airport was handy. That’s about all I can say in its favor. The room cost far too much for what it was, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and there was dirt everywhere. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

The Wi-Fi connected, but there was no internet. The TV only had Chinese channels, and the remote and bathroom supplies, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and tissues, were all in Chinese. There’s no lift, so my elderly mother had to climb two flights of stairs to our room. The toilet clogged after two uses, and the property looked nothing like the photos. I have no issue with people of any nationality, but the listing should make clear that the place seems set up only for Chinese guests.

A short ride from the airport, about five minutes. There are also a few grocery shops nearby where you can pick up essentials before island hopping.

This cheaply built, dodgy hotel collapsed in the earthquake.
