Jennifer at reception was kind, helpful and understanding. The room I was given was spacious and clean. I’d definitely recommend it.

A cheap, no-frills place. The rooms are along an echoey corridor, so noise can carry, and the chickens start up at 5am every morning. Bring earplugs. The bus to Port Vila costs 150vvt.

It’s a bit of a walk into the city, and the service was the least pleasant I had at any of my stays in Vanuatu. The accommodation itself is very basic, but it had what I needed, and daily cleaning was possible. For the price, I think it was definitely worth it.

Cheap, nice motel close to everything, including cafes and mini markets, and the town center is walkable. The wifi kept disconnecting, maybe because my room was too far from the router. I could only find one power socket on the balcony. While packing to check out, I spotted another one in the room, but the bed was blocking it.

A very affordable place with comfy beds and friendly staff. There’s a laundry service, a good-quality restaurant/cafe right next door, and a shipping centre on the other side. The local market is just down the road.
