Be warned, they may give away your room even after you’ve paid in advance. We booked and paid, then messaged through Facebook and got a reply a few days before arrival. They never said there wouldn’t be a room for us. When we arrived, there was no room, and the owner wasn’t there or answering his phone. The women in the village helped us find somewhere to stay. The owner never replied afterward.

It felt like paradise on Earth, with the people of Port Resolution so welcoming.
