Hotel Begolli

My balcony had a great view across Pristina, with the tall minarets making a beautiful silhouette at sunset. The room was very clean, and the area felt safe. Staff went out of their way with excellent service, even carrying my luggage to the room. I also had clean towels and linen, a working hair dryer, and excellent AC that kept me cool.

Hotel Begolli was a disappointing stay for our large group of friends. We paid 60 €/per person for 2 nights, sharing rooms, or 120€ total for 2 nights, and I didn’t think the price was justified by the room conditions. There was only one usable socket in the whole room for charging phones or switching on the lamp. The bathroom flooded when we showered, and I could hear the people next door talking. The staff were nice, but the manager or owner was very rude and unhelpful. Getting a second set of towels was practically impossible without talking to the manager. The hotel is 20 minutes on foot from the city center, and the room had a good-quality TV and good Wi-Fi. Still, for what we paid, it wasn’t worth it. Just overpriced.

Begolli is a lovely place in the heart of the city, with good conditions and easy access to the city center and main shopping areas. There’s a grocery market nearby, and it has what you need in one place. Email communication with the staff was great, and the price was great for a 4-star hotel. Wi-Fi and breakfast are free too. Kosovo may surprise you if you arrive without expectations, and this hotel did the same for me.

I stayed two nights, and the price-performance ratio was okay. The location wasn’t necessarily the best, but the staff were so communicative and helpful that their service made up for it. Best wishes to everyone from D. Z.
