Vetus Hotel

The rooms were spotless and instantly felt comfortable, and I slept easy knowing everything was clean. What made the stay feel like home, though, was the family running the hotel. The mother cooked lovely breakfasts with care and a nice variety. Each morning, the elegant young woman greeted me with a calming smile and a few kind words. In the evenings, the son, the IT guy, welcomed guests like old friends, with a sincere smile and a warm energy. And bro, sorry for bothering you 😂, I love making a friend. I felt welcomed from the start and didn’t want to leave. Thanks to the family for such an unforgettable experience. If you want family warmth along with the comfort of a luxury stay, this place is for you.

The one thing that stopped me giving this hotel five stars was the dirty bed linen. There were too many large brown and green stains for a cleaner to have missed. We told the receptionist, who agreed it wasn’t acceptable, took the dirty linen away, and gave us a duvet case to use as a mattress cover. Before that, our first impression had been five out of five: the staff were friendly, the room was clean, and breakfast was good value for the hotel’s size and price. Overall, we’d been impressed.

I stayed for 7 days and it was amazing. There’s no view in front of the hotel, but the people are so nice and friendly, they make you happy 😊

Great value for money, with a comfortable room and friendly staff. The hotel is right in the city center, so all the attractions are within walking distance. Perfect stay!
