The room was clean and well organized, and the pool water was fresh and clean. The jacuzzi was 100 percent too. Staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was nice and cool, and I felt completely safe. I’ll never forget the treat.

They came through for me at the last minute when I was in a pinch. The surroundings are gorgeous, and breakfast was divine. What a gem of a place, everything just as it should be. I’d definitely recommend it.

We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. The accommodation was spotless, the service friendly, and breakfast superb. It’s set among beautiful citrus farms, and the gravel road was in good condition. Addo Elephant Park is only 15 KLM away.

The lake area and pool were great, though my brother and I tried the kayak and ended up getting wet, so don’t expect to stay dry! The rooms were well equipped, the beds comfortable, and Lo-Mari was a delight. She packed breakfast for our early start at the park, then made us an incredible fry-up the next morning. We booked two nights at Bydand at the last minute after failing to find affordable accommodation in Addo. It’s only 15 mins from the park and turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks again, Lo-Mari!

The room was neat and clean, with fresh-smelling towels and linen. The shower had good pressure and drained perfectly, and breakfast was delicious. Our hostess went out of her way to give us a great stay, even packing breakfast for our very early departure.
