The Silos Guesthouse

Kayla was always quick to reply and incredibly helpful with my slightly “odd” booking through booking.com. Her help sorting the whole thing out was invaluable. We loved our stay. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was really good, with beautifully presented hot breakfasts served by the friendliest staff.

The garden was a delight to walk around and enjoy, and we loved sitting on the stoep and under the pool boma. The place smells of oranges from the orange tree orchards. My brother and I were referred to Silos Guest Farm/Guest House by Homestead Guest Farm, which we appreciated, and it felt like paradise less than 15 kms from the Addo Elephant Park Main Gate. We shared Aloe, the luxury room, for two nights, from 4-5 October 2024, and had breakfast both mornings. Everything was immaculate and beautifully presented, from the stoep and furniture to the front room with kitchenette and one single bed, the bathroom, and the main bedroom with twin/double bed. The room was serviced daily. The hearty breakfasts were delicious and filling, with different accompaniments to the made-to-order eggs each morning. There were also plenty of muffins, breads, jams, cheese, coffee and tea, juices, plus fruit salad and yoghurt to start. The beautiful farmhouse, lovely pool, and fantastic garden made our stay feel like two weeks. Thank you, Kyla and team, for the wonderful two nights and days. Hope to come back some time. Kayla is lovely, and the property is beautiful. Breakfasts were amazing, with lots of gluten-free choices, and it was such a good price. This was also the only place we could find that would accommodate three adults instead of two. A really incredible experience.

The hosts put in an extraordinary amount of effort to make our daughter's birthday special during the stay. They went well beyond the norm to accommodate my young children.
