Alante Lodge

The food is excellent and the rooms are clean. I like to work and eat in my room, and that wasn't possible here since there's no room service. The friendly staff do call when your food is ready, though. No complaints, I enjoyed the stay.

Our stay at Alante Lodge from 04/07 to 06/07/2025 left us very dissatisfied, both with the room we were given and with the billing. The room was much smaller than it looked online and seemed less clean. Its dated condition and lack of cleanliness fell short of the modern, high-quality impression from the website, and didn't seem worth the high standard-room price. The TV and WiFi weren't working either. We were also charged twice for the two-night stay, first through the website during booking, then again at checkout because staff said the original payment didn't show in their system. The room and service didn't match the expectations set online, so we can't recommend Alante Lodge.

Breakfast was nice, and the view outside was good, but the room they called spacious, with a small dining area, was nothing like that. It felt more like a jail cell, with tiny square windows. They should be clear and honest about what each room is like. The TV didn't work, and the receptionist couldn't help when I called, so I had to wait until Monday, after I'd checked out. WiFi was down too, leaving no entertainment in that expensive little cell. Maybe there's new management, because the place seems to be deteriorating from how it used to be.

I was there for work for 10-11 days, but the stay honestly felt like a vacation. The food was amazing, and the portions were huge. Everyone, from reception to the helpers, was so friendly. I felt lonely and a bit shy at first, but they made me feel welcome and right at home. The views can speak for themselves in the pictures. I left in such a rush that I couldn't properly say goodbye or wish everyone Merry Christmas. It's listed as a 3 star, but the attitude and service made it feel like 5. Love and respect, Alante. P.S.
