Zebula Golf Estate & Spa Executive Villas

A lovely treat. The treatment was nice, the staff were friendly, and the facility was well kept. They cater to a niche market.

The massage itself was good, and thanks to Lucy for sorting things out. We’d booked a 75-minute treatment plus 15 minutes, for 90 minutes total, but our therapists gave us 75 minutes and then told the receptionist they had treated us for 90. I was also unhappy that my therapist changed my treatment to deep tissue without asking me, after I’d only requested more pressure.

The massage itself was relaxing, and the therapists and staff were friendly and professional. The facility feels run down, though, and the towels were torn and clearly past their best. New, softer towels would be a worthwhile investment.

I left with the same muscle pain and tension I came in with. The 60-minute Deep Tension Melting Massage was just a light rub with oil, despite my request for medium to hard pressure. It really didn't match its name. The changing room was substandard, and there were no towels or robes. We asked three times, then waited, and eventually used our T-shirts to cover ourselves. My therapist was very sweet, but talking about her serious financial problems while I was trying to relax felt awkward. She was clearly struggling, while I was spending R695 to treat myself. A disappointing visit. 😔
