Waterfall City Guest Lodge

The gardens were a lovely place to sit and watch the birds, trees, flowers, and plants, and the decor indoors felt modern and classy. Jay and Rose made us feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Service was great, the food came quickly, tasted delicious, and was very affordable. We enjoyed the MEGA DAGWOOD, STEAK DINNER, and the huge T-BONE, CLUB OR RUMP. The beds were comfortable, the linen was high quality, the work desks gave me plenty of room to edit videos, and the showers had reliable hot water. I could keep going, but I’ll definitely come back.

I came with my family and felt truly blessed to be in such a peaceful place, with wonderful service and friendly owners and staff. Their son was lovely too and kept us smiling. I was there with my nephew, who was critically ill in ICU, and left with him in recovery after a guest I met prayed for him. I believe we witnessed a miracle there. If you’re in the area, you’re close to plenty of nice places to visit.

The guesthouse is well maintained and the service for guests is good, but I was troubled by the way the owners treated staff. I saw employees dismissed and spoken to disrespectfully, in a way that seemed unfair. The team gives guests excellent service despite working in difficult conditions, and that affected how I felt about the place. I hope management, Jay and Rose, rethink how they treat employees from other countries. They employ foreign workers and, in my view, treat them badly on purpose because undocumented employees can’t exercise their rights. The staff are central to the good experience guests receive.

I felt at home and very welcome here. The rooms are amazing, the service is excellent, and the hospitality is exceptional. It was a lovely, convenient stay, and I’d really love to come back with my family for a holiday. ❤️❤️❤️
