I enjoyed the bright, spacious rooms, each with its own balcony, and the outdoor areas had several different spots to sit. The place looks lovely inside and out, and the receptionist made us feel welcome. Breakfast was a letdown, though. For the nightly price, I expected a five-star meal, so it didn't feel worth the money to me.

The garden and pool overlook a bird sanctuary, and it made for a beautiful stay near Johannesburg. The rooms are lovely, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was amazing. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

A lovely lake view makes the price worthwhile, and there's a pleasant 2.5 km walk around the non-swimming lake, with upscale homes on one side and birds on the other. The hotel is in a very upscale neighbourhood across a quiet road from it. The pool area has plenty of comfortable seating for a hotel this size, and the restaurant serves good food from a kitchen open to the dining area. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well appointed. The linens are nice, the bathrooms feel new, and there's a large separate shower and jacuzzi tub. The chairs and chaise lounge are comfortable, and the deck chairs have cushions. Service is good, maintenance is kept up, and the place is impeccably clean. A fabulous, restful stay.
