Summer Garden Guest House (The Flower Box)

A really good overnight stop, with very friendly staff. It was super clean and easy to get to from the airport and back.

The room was large and airy, with tasteful decor and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious, and having an equipped kitchenette was a nice bonus. Both the room and service exceeded our expectations.

After working very late at a nearby music festival, I was left stranded in Benoni at midnight and had to travel back to Pretoria alone. The organisers had centrally booked us here, and the place had my name and knew I was meant to stay. Still, a rude man refused to open the gate or help because I didn't have a key and remote, even after I explained I'd never stayed there before and couldn't have received them. They eventually switched off the intercom. There were no cars parked there, so it seemed the place was empty and they could have helped me. We'll never use them again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Summer Gardens. The rooms were comfortable, the service was great, and they were very accommodating.
