Ilanga Estate

Absolutely awful service. I called over 20 times, literally, and nobody answered. I also sent three emails and got no response at all. I wish I'd checked the reviews before booking with you.

I paid in advance for a booking for my partner at Ilanga Estate. When she arrived, they charged her again, saying my payment hadn't come through. I sent clear proof that we'd paid twice for the same booking, but for four months they've kept making excuses. Whenever I follow up, they say the finance department is handling the refund, but nothing happens. They refuse to return my money. It's unprofessional and dishonest to keep a customer's money for months after admitting to a mistake. They clearly don't care about customers or have integrity. I'll never book with Ilanga Estate again. Be warned, you could end up fighting to get your money back like I am.

The rooms were dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the place. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on it, but the dining room tables were all dirty and there were no utensils or coffee cups. What a rip-off. It was a terrible experience, and these people shouldn't have all those stars. 😭

It's a nice place, but I believe they could improve their customer service. We met Tracy, the talkative lady at reception, and she tried to help. The pavement outside the rooms also needs more attention when it comes to cleanliness. It wasn't quiet, though. Events outside went on until 5:00 a.m., with loud music and people singing.
