A good-value venue that’s easy to find, whether you’re planning a quick getaway, a wedding, or a work function. The rolling Overburg hills make for gorgeous views, and it’s about 30 km from Hermanus and 90 km from Capetown.

We gave the wine tasting a second try and got turned away again. There were four of us, but tastings are only offered to groups of six or more. Really disappointing.

The restaurant pointed us toward the house opposite, but there were no signs, so we were left standing around unsure where to go. Google Maps showed the place as open, yet we couldn’t find the tasting room. Better signs and more accurate Google information would help.

We held a private breakfast for around 30 people here, and the setting, food, and service were all world class. I’d highly recommend it.

We had a wonderfully warm welcome and a wedding that was organised and carried out really well. A fabulous venue in a magnificent part of Cape Town. Highly recommend it.
