Karoo Nest - Calitzdorp

We were a family of four staying just overnight, and it was clean and very comfortable. They'd thought of the small details and supplied everything we needed, including drinking water, coffee, tea, milk and rusks. We also had a lovely private little succulent garden. I'd highly recommend staying here.

I was booked for four nights and ended up staying two more because I was so comfortable and enjoyed it so much. The unit is spacious and well equipped, with crisp, clean, high-quality bedding. Bella was in seventh heaven in our large private garden, and even had doggy biscuits. I could easily live here permanently and can't wait to book again. Shirley & Roger are well known and highly recommended in town. They're perfect hosts, available if you need them but never intrusive.

After a long day driving, it was a real help that the hosts had arranged braai packs and wood for us. They were so friendly and organised. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, with fuel and shops conveniently close by.

We enjoyed sitting in the garden, even with a bit of rain, and the whole place was so tidy. The light green decor felt calm and fresh. As coffee snobs, we were especially happy to find both a plunger and filter coffee.
