Nelda was friendly and very helpful, and even waited for our late checkin. We had a great stay at this gorgeous oasis in the klein Karoo. The rooms were spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds, and the bathroom had a nice walkin shower. It's in a quiet part of Calitzdorp, with views over the vineyards. Try the Boplaas port.

The hostess was fabulous and we wanted for nothing. The parking was safe, and the place is well positioned for walking to Boplaas and the restaurants.

The rooms were spotless, and the staff deserve credit for that. They looked out over what I presume is the Boplaas vineyard, and there was plenty of secure parking. There's also a swimming pool that's great for relaxing beside in the late afternoon or taking a dip. Our team received a warm welcome and complimentary glasses of port. I especially remember how lovely and accommodating Wanita, the manageress, was.

Beautiful vineyard views, a swimming pool, and good food and wine made for a lovely stay. The rooms were nice and comfortable, the spot was quiet, and the staff and managers were especially friendly. Service was great. It's also a historic building that's been running since the 1900s.

After tasting wine at the nearby vineyards, you can enjoy a refreshing swim or tuck into more food. The Queen's Hotel of Calitzdorp lives up to its reputation, and the renovations have improved it. The new rooms have en-suites. It's easy to find: turn into Queen street and drive past the Police Station.
