Bliss Boutique Hotel

We celebrated my father's 80th birthday here, and the venue made a lovely setting for the occasion. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and had something for everyone's taste. Staff took care of every detail with kindness and attention, and everything ran smoothly from the moment we arrived. The whole experience was memorable, and we highly recommend the hotel for special events.

I left feeling grateful for a stay that went beyond what I expected. The front desk woman was lovely, and even the laundry service was top notch. Archford, the bartender and restaurant server, was so kind and accommodating, always making sure we were well looked after. Chef Shanice is a genius: every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and served at just the right temperature. She clearly puts a lot of care into making guests leave happy. The accommodations are comfortable, and the whole place feels restful, with outstanding staff. I hope to come back.

We booked ten nights in February, and sadly have only two left. The King room has wonderful views of Table Mountain, Cape Town, and the Atlantic from the bed and window. The veranda fits just two chairs, while the small, quiet pool is hardly used and has four sunbeds and two armchairs. This is a small hotel, but it feels like paradise. It suits solo travelers, couples, and small families with grown-up children. The staff are wonderful, including Vimbai, Sam, Archie, and Vanessa, and the people working behind the scenes are just as friendly and helpful. The atmosphere, food, drinks, comfort, and cleanliness are all second to none. Bliss Boutique Hotel is a few miles from Cape Town, but Uber is excellent and cheap, making trips into the city and elsewhere easy. The drivers were all friendly. Cape Town is beautiful and has plenty to see and do. We took the blue hop-on hop-off bus for two hours, which was amazing and well worth the money. We also booked a day trip to Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, and Boulders Beach to see the penguins, another day trip to Robben Island, a safari at Aquila Game Reserve, and a wine tasting trip to three wineries with a private chauffeur. The hotel arranged the safari and wine trip, and both are musts. Our winery driver, Siraaj, went out of his way to make the day easy and enjoyable. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is also worth visiting by Uber. There are many good restaurants around Cape Town and Bloubergstrand, and the food is inexpensive and very good. Thanks to everyone at Bliss for a wonderful holiday.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, thanks to the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The hotel sits in a quiet area, right by a five-star beach, with fantastic views over Cape Town and the sunset. Uber makes it easy to get to the city centre. We also really enjoyed the food and drinks. Highly recommend, 10/10.
