We were tired and a bit anxious after trouble with a previous Airbnb and worries about our flight home, but Batsi, the manager, reassured us on the phone that they'd take care of us. They did. He's a key part of Amina, warm and personal while still professional, and he and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome. The little boutique hotel is in Boo Kap, near restaurants, and has a lovely, calm pool and garden area. Our room was clean and nice, with beautiful bathrooms.

We stayed here in September 2025 and loved the beautiful rooms. The hotel sits at the edge of the Bo-Kaap district, within a short walk of Kloof and Long Streets, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Batsi, the manager, who did all he could to make the stay perfect. We'd absolutely recommend Amina to anyone visiting Cape Town.

A charming little B&B in a renovated townhouse, with a lovely view of Lion's Head. It was clean and full of character. Kloof street, with its cafés and restaurants, is an easy walk away, and the area felt safe even in the early evening.

The orange room's shower was massive, and we loved it. We stayed just one night, but the hotel's character made it feel like a lovely home away from home. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was plentiful. We also never waited more than two or three minutes for an Uber.
