The only drawback is the location outside Cape Town's main area, since many tour providers won't pick you up there. Still, Uber makes it easy to get around. The outdoor area feels safe, the breakfast is great, and the lovely staff make this a lovely property. The rooms have a Victorian-era feel.

Yves and Valèrie are such warm, charming hosts. They made us feel at home day after day. We loved the huge room and its exquisite furnishings so much that we booked another night at the end of our trip. The shared spaces are elegant but comfortable, and there's a lush garden full of birds, a pool to dip into, and flowers and sunshine all around. What a treasure.

Yves and Valérie were a pleasure to stay with, so friendly, hospitable and always ready to help with what we needed. They even went out of their way with restaurant suggestions, an airport transfer, food delivery and an at-home beauty salon treatment. Breakfast is made with care, and the clean, comfortable, chic rooms each have their own color or theme and everything you might need. We'd happily stay again, highly recommend!

A small fan was the one thing we missed. The house is old, and you can hear it creak and live. It didn't really bother us, but light sleepers should know. We had the huge four-person room on the ground floor. Everything was very clean, 10/10, with some of the best showers we've had in SA, and the pool was a big plus. Breakfast and coffee had a French feel and were good quality. The two owners, Yves and Valerie, were extremely kind and made us feel at home during our lovely two-night stay in January 2023. It's an old Victorian house, full of love and attention to detail. 9.8 out of 10. Thanks!
