Ian and his crew made my four-night stay at Constantia Vista memorable. The accommodation is beautiful, with all the essentials for a comfortable visit, and you feel at home right away. The spacious, modern rooms are well maintained and have a view to die for. The large patios have seating for several people, plus a grill if you feel like cooking meat or veggies over a fire. There’s also a fridge, stove and coffeemaker. The place sits high on the Constantia hill and is very quiet. Each unit has its own parking spot, but you’ll need a car or rely on Uber or a taxi.

We came back to Constantia Vista in May 2025 and still love it. Ian was just as welcoming and accommodating, and those views across Constantia Valley towards Muizenberg are stunning. Our first visit was in February 2022, on a four-night Cape Town stopover with my wife. We loved the four-star accommodation, the quiet, private and secure setting, and how spotless everything was. We enjoyed the complimentary wine in the jacuzzi, looking over the Groot Constantia vineyards, and I had the best night's sleep I'd had in ages. Ian was incredibly friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more, and we'll return again.

The apartments have some of the most breathtaking views we've seen. Ian owns, manages, and designed them, and he personally shows you to your place. He quickly feels like a friend and confidante. Everything is set up nicely for a self-catering stay, or just a regular holiday.

Ian and his dogs made us feel so welcome. The views are fantastic, and the room has everything you need for self-catering. We had a great stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended.
