Everyone was so accommodating and cheerful, from reception and the porters to the cleaning staff. We were really happy with our stay and would recommend it to family and friends.

The location is great, but our room was very basic. I assume we got a cheaper one, with a view of the laundry. It was noisy, and we couldn’t really leave the curtains open. The pillows were very uncomfortable too.

The room wasn’t the one we booked, and the morning staff did nothing to improve things. We found bedbugs, and the hairdryer didn’t work. We waited half a day for a replacement. There were no amenities, no plug in the sink, and no bathmat. The fridge was frozen up, so we had to defrost it before using it. The balcony was dirty, with cigarette ends and just one rusty chair, despite specifying a smoke-free room. There was no safe key, and the spare was missing. We had no ice all Christmas weekend. False advertising!

The rooms feel poorly maintained, with doors that barely lock and things only half working. The place smells of cigarettes, and what you get doesn’t match the advertising.
