Grace Place Welgemoed

I stayed for four months and had a wonderful time. Absolutely recommend it.

We needed somewhere urgently and found Marshrose. Our hostess was very accommodating, and although there were just two adults, we were given a spacious family unit. It’s in a quiet, safe area, close to the centre and good restaurants.

The stay itself was average. While we were away, the host kept entering our room and going through our personal luggage. She also intercepted and read my letters, and I had to involve the SAPS Belville to get them back. It became very acrimonious when the eight months of money I was paying her were about to stop, and she did not take that well.

It’s a cozy, peaceful place where I felt safe and at ease. The host took care of my needs, and it had that comforting, feel-good-away-from-home feeling.
