Incredible Green Point Apartment near V&A and the stadium!

I got there at 1 pm, the check-in time shown in the app, but they argued that it was 2 pm. The security guard said the room might be ready by 3. I asked the owner to cancel my booking and refund me. She said she would keep the money, so I left.

Amazing.

We booked apartment 6 for five days and regretted it badly. The mattresses were completely worn out, the couch was filthy, and the shower had mold and yellow grout. The wooden floor creaked, and much of the Ikea furniture and equipment was dirty, wobbly, or broken. The washer-dryer wouldn’t spin or switch to the dryer cycle. We didn’t even want to use the microwave or oven after opening them. The pool was neglected, and people who seemed to be tenants were often hanging around smoking marijuana. The building and apartment felt old and uncared for. There’s a four-lane main road outside and a six-lane city highway right behind it, so it was incredibly noisy. It seemed to us that no money or care was being put into the property, at the expense of tourists. This was the worst accommodation we had during four weeks in South Africa. We travel a lot, and this experience was truly outrageous. The place should be removed from booking platforms.
