Lawhill Luxury Apartments

The friendly, attentive team took great care of us, and the hospitality was outstanding. The apartment has roomy layouts, fully equipped kitchens, housekeeping, Wi-Fi, and other amenities. If you want to walk to the waterfront, this is the place.

The penthouse is stunning, but the fittings felt cheap throughout. It looked clean at first, yet my feet were black within minutes of walking around. The photos were taken on consecutive days. After the cleaner briefly mopped the floor, my feet weren't black that evening. Just great.

We arrived at 9pm, so it would've been nice to have a few basics like milk and bread waiting for us. The apartment was large for a two-bedroom and had all the modern conveniences. It's quiet, safe, and secure, right next to the One and Only Hotel. The staff were helpful, especially Patience from reservations. I'd return.

The apartment itself was fine and the location was great, but the management made this one of the worst experiences I've had in any country. A shuttle brought us there with a driver and a woman who was no help. When we arrived, the driver asked us to carry two of our four bags while she sat in the car doing nothing. The room was boiling. They hadn't switched on the AC before we arrived, and when I tried it, it only blew air without cooling. I called reception 10 times to ask someone to check it, but apparently maintenance was off because it was Saturday, so we had to sleep without AC. We also asked for drinking water since none was provided. Each time we called, we got the same excuse from three different people: the only staff member working was dropping guests off and would bring the water afterward. Well, apparently he was dropping them off in Kenya, because the water never arrived 😂. I'd avoid this place for a weekend stay. I got the impression the whole team was on leave.
