Lord Charles Hotel, Somerset West, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We'd just wrapped up a four-day conference at this hotel, and I can't stop talking about how impressive it was. What stood out most was the staff. Every person I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and went well out of their way to help. The rooms were amazing, the grounds were beautifully kept, and the food was beyond impressive. This hotel is a wonderful example of true South African hospitality.

Our group all loved staying here. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and having a bus meant the location wasn't a problem. We also had delicious food from a varied menu at the Garden Terrace Restaurant. Thanks, Daniel and Grizelda, for the excellent service.

I had a delightful breakfast at The Lord Charles Hotel, and Griszelda's warm, attentive service made it special. She went out of her way to make the visit memorable, and I'll remember her singing “Happy Birthday” to a woman at another table. It brought so much joy and made the morning feel like a celebration. Thank you, Griszelda, for the kind hospitality and personal touch you bring each time we visit.

We checked in at 2am after a bad experience somewhere else, and the Lord Charles staff were kind, empathetic and ready to go out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable too, and I was surprised by how well soundproofed they were. The busy streets couldn't be heard from inside. Breakfast was good and pretty standard, while dinner was amazing.
