Lyonesse

We were looked after really well at this lovely villa. Highly recommend it.

The heated pool was such a nice way to unwind after exploring, and the facilities were good. We also loved how friendly and helpful the staff were. Lyons Den is tucked away in the Constantia mountains, with beautiful views of the city in the distance, yet it’s still close enough to town. It felt peaceful and secluded without being inconvenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return.

I’ve stayed at Lyonesse house often, and the quiet setting makes it easy to relax. It’s also a short walk to the Constantia neck hiking route and La Parada restaurant, with wine farms right next door. The rooms are kept in good shape, the beds are very comfortable, and the linens are high quality. I enjoyed waking up to the Constantia neck scenery and those lovely views from the room. I’ve always been impressed by the location and hospitality, and every visit has been a pleasure. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, relaxing stay in the Constantia area.

We had a great week here, and the kids loved the heated pool. The grounds and pool are well looked after, and the villa has lovely views. The manager also came through for us when we needed a last-minute booking after our original accommodation turned into a festering disaster. Really cool spot.
