Milas Place

The place is beautiful and clean, but that's where the good part ends. We saw a staff member only once, and had to ask for milk because there was none in the room. There wasn't a hairdryer either. The shower inlet was painfully slow, with hardly any water coming from the showerhead. Breakfast was the most disappointing part: a cold egg and macon in a not-so-fresh bagel, with a small juice, packed in a takeaway box.

A phenomenal experience. Come try it for yourself 😉😉😉

We were left with a much smaller room and had to accept it or risk spending the night without accommodation. Our booking confirmation listed a balcony, a separate bathroom and lounge, and separate beds, but none were provided. Milas Place-Somerset West put us in a cheaper suite than the one we had booked and paid for, and I felt we had been deliberately misled. Check-in was another problem. They refused to let us in at 2 pm and insisted on 7 pm, in keeping with their religious beliefs. The room had no soap, shower gel or coffee, and the electrical outlets were exposed without safety covers. The waste bins were below standard, there was nowhere to store clothes or luggage, and no breakfast was mentioned or provided. At 7 the next morning, I handed the keys to Reuben. He greeted me in his pyjamas and seemed disoriented because he had just woken up.

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, and made us feel at home. Our room was clean and cosy, and the service was excellent. We had a great stay at Milas Place and will definitely return. I'd recommend it to anyone.
