We spent four weeks in the Zebra room in January 2018. The apartment was clean and we got fresh towels every day, but the furniture was worn and needed renovation. We had already paid in full before arriving, and unfortunately the owner hadn’t told us that some advertised facilities wouldn’t be available. The listing mentioned a pool and barbecue facilities. On arrival, we were told the pool couldn’t be used because of water restrictions, and the Braai wasn’t available either. Showers were limited to two minutes, yet it took longer than two minutes for hot water to come through, so we used a bucket to flush the toilet to save water. The internet photos looked much nicer than the place itself. The connection was very poor and slow, so we couldn’t watch German TV. Breakfast was okay, though alternative food was available elsewhere for half the price. The owner was accommodating, but wouldn’t agree to a discount when we discussed the missing facilities. We can’t recommend this guesthouse.
