The bay views from the balcony are lovely, and Boulders Beach is nearby for a visit to see the penguins. Our hosts were friendly and kind. We had a delicious dinner at Cafe Pescada in town, but restaurants close around 9pm, so go early. The views are outstanding. Getting in and out by car takes care, though: the driveway is very steep, and you need to approach at an angle or you could lose a bumper. You also have to reverse downhill when leaving. A 4x4 would make it easier.

The rooms had a fantastic view, but there were some basic issues. We expected a B&B and got only a kettle, and the drinking water provided wasn't clean. There was no DSTV or room service. We also couldn't open the sliding doors at night for fresh air because there were no safety doors, which made safety a concern.

The rooms are spacious and the views are magnificent. Getting onto the property means tackling a very steep slope, and the steps are steep too, especially when carrying luggage.
