The location is good, and Uber and Bolt work best for getting around. Uber Eats is easy to use for food. The breakfast has lots of variety and is good, but the staff rush to take your plate as soon as they think you’re finished, even when you’ve only just started. The beds are very short if you’re six feet or taller. Room cleaning is every two days and needs reminders, and the cleaners still don’t do everything. There’s no ventilation besides the air conditioning. Everyone in the family needs to keep their entry card with them. The gym is funny: you need a card to get in, but it often doesn’t work, so you have to ask someone inside to open the door. Then there are no weights, just one treadmill and two or three other cardio machines. They don’t provide water bottles daily either, so you have to ask each day or buy your own. In the room there’s a hot plate but nothing else to cook with, plus only two plates, two cups and glasses. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location was convenient, less than ten minutes from the train station, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Everything else was working. I booked through airbnb, where it had 12 reviews and an overall 4.6 rating, but was disappointed not to find basics like tea, coffee, sugar, salt or pepper. The bathroom basin plug was stuck shut, so I had to use the kitchen sink. Credit to the owners, they came and fixed it within a day. The shower leaked a lot, and one of the co-owners said it was a design problem affecting the whole building. Maybe that should have been mentioned in the Airbnb listing. It cost me $95 Australian a night.
After two nights at the hotel, I realized once I got home that I’d left my suit behind. Huge thanks to Ziyanda Sam for helping me get it back from the lost and found department, you rock! I enjoyed the beautiful view from the 22nd floor and wish I could wake up to it every day. Service was good, the food okay, and the Wifi was fast too. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My wife and I had a fantastic, much-needed break, and the rugby tickets made it even better. A big thank you to One Thibault for a great getaway. The rooms were lovely, and the staff were warm and friendly. We really appreciated the hospitality and can’t wait to visit again!
For a family of four staying one night, the two rooms were comfortable, lovely, clean and well equipped. The lifts gave us trouble several times, and broken lifts seem to be an ongoing issue. Breakfast was the real letdown and would be the main reason we wouldn’t choose the hotel again. We tried both the continental and à la carte options, but only enjoyed the fresh fruit salad. The pastries tasted stale and definitely store bought, and the breakfast overall felt as if little care had gone into it. I’d give breakfast just 1⭐️ on its own.
