Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore

We’re grateful for the understanding shown by the team at Radisson Hotel Cape Town Foreshore, and would happily book there again. We had reserved a stay as part of a long trip from Ireland, but our plans changed at the last minute because airline cancellations related to the ongoing regional conflict disrupted flights through Dubai. Even with very little notice, and circumstances outside our control, the team refunded our booking without issues, questions, or demands for extensive proof. Communication was quick, professional, and empathetic throughout. Before the disruption, they had also been very helpful arranging transport and responding promptly to requests. Their handling of a stressful situation showed genuine hospitality and care.

My husband and I stayed nine nights at Radisson Foreshore Cape Town between December 2025 and January 2026. The spacious, comfortable room and the hotel’s decor were good, but poor service at breakfast, housekeeping, and reception fell far below what I’d expect from a Radisson property. Breakfast brought problems almost every morning. Even a simple request for two scrambled eggs was often wrong, with two people getting just one plate. Staff often seemed more interested in chatting with one another than clearing tables or helping guests. Dirty tables were common, and parts of the buffet, especially the juice station, were often left dirty, unattended, and without replacements. Housekeeping was inconsistent too, and things provided at first were rarely replenished. I used a small wooden stick each day to mix powdered medication, and it was almost never replaced. Worse, a pair of my husband’s black Havaianas went missing during our stay. The hotel took no responsibility and didn’t even apologize, which felt extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The service, particularly at breakfast, and the way the theft was handled seriously detracted from our stay. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

A group of 10, including kids, had a great dinner at Fellini Restaurant at the Radisson on the Foreshore before a show at Artscape. Marzel and Ongi, our waitresses, were friendly and attentive and made us feel well looked after. The staff were welcoming and made it easy to manage our group. The classic Italian dishes were well prepared and enjoyed by adults and children alike. Parking at the hotel is available, or you can leave the car at Artscape and take a short, convenient walk to the restaurant. It’s a great place for a relaxed meal before a show. We’ll definitely be back.

I had a nice dinner with my girlfriends at the Filini restaurant this past Friday. The food was amazing, and the service was even better. Big shout out to the chefs and the waitress who looked after us. We’ll definitely return for another awesome experience.
