I was charged twice for my one night at the beginning of May, and I still haven’t heard back about the refund. When I called about the duplicate charge, they told me to contact Booking.com. Booking.com helped by reaching out to them, but we were left waiting for the guesthouse to respond. It still hasn’t. I’ve also been trying for weeks to get through to their office with no luck. It’s really frustrating.

This is a small, cozy bed and breakfast hotel in a great spot near V&A waterfront. The rooms are a little too small, and breakfast could be fresher and offer more variety. I’d recommend it if your budget is low to medium.

We felt safe here, and the pool was clean and refreshing. The breakfast was very nice too. It’s about a 20min walk to the waterfront, and we had a lovely stay 🤗

The location and pool were the reasons I booked, and neither let me down. I was lucky to get an early check-in. The staff were very friendly, my room had a view, the bed was comfy, and the mini bar was a great idea.

We were in Cape Town for the 7,s and stayed at Port View Guest House over the weekend of 9-11 December 2023. The service was excellent throughout, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was stunning. We loved it and will definitely come back.
